HOW TO BUY A NEW PC
It seems that most people who buy PCs or computers tend to enjoy
more features, more power and of course lower prices. Thanks to
constant competition, the buyer has a huge selection of makes, models,
brands and accessories to choose from. The options can be numerous
but overwhelming at the same time.
The computer you buy has to depend on what you plan to do with
it. You don’t need a dual processor motherboard with 5+ gigahertz
of power with 1 plus gig of memory if all you plan to do is surf
the net and send emails. The honest salesperson won’t send
you in this direction so even though they might not ask, always
tell them what you plan to do with the PC. The correct approach
to choosing the right computer is to cautiously go over what your
present requirements are and what it will be during the next few
years. Most people keep their PCs for an average of three years.
Now that you’ve considered what PC to buy it is now up to
what options you would like to have. Buying a PC is like buying
a car. There are numerous peripherals that you can add on. PCs that
will need to run heavy programs like Macromedia Flash and Adobe
Photoshop, at least 256MB of memory is required. A perfect amount
would be 512MB. For people who like to play video games then we
suggest anywhere from 512 meg to 1 gigabyte of memory with a much
more powerful video card.
